Hunter Hayes surely knows how to put on an unforgettable performance. With his first major show on British soil in recent years, he brought his latest and greatest musical arsenal along for the ride, with songs such as “Wanted”, “Storm Warning” and “Invisible”.
As soon he stepped out onto the stage, the crowd roared with admiration, as they knew they were in for one amazing night. He opened up with “Light Me Up” the lights of The Border Line started flashing, the crowd took in the atmosphere and immediately responded with instant emotion.
It wasn’t just the crowd who showed emotion during the night. Hunter showed his compassionate side as he opened up about the meanings of songs such as “Invisible” which was shortly followed by a heart-warming speech on a very personal level:”…This is my story but for ever whose out there dreaming and wondering if it ever happens. It happens and when it does it’s more beautiful then you could have dreamed. So I’ve learned lately to not only believe in your dreams but more importantly that no matter what happens to your dreams. If your dreams change they evolve, whatever they will. They’ll change. That’s fine but don’t stop believing in yourself that’s important to…”
His showmanship didn’t fail to impress. On one such occasion, he noticed a fan in the audience who was saying to her friend “This is your song” Hunter then got the crowd behind him to say hello. The result of which led to one happy fan at the other end of the phone line. This led to the continued support and admiration from the crowd that didn’t appear to slow down but rather speed up especially towards the latter half of the evening. As the night drew to a close, it ended on one climatic climax. Hunter got the ground singing along, and they gave it their all for one last moment of sheer brilliance.
From the start right up until the end, Hunter Hayes drew the crowd in. He engaged the audience on multiple occasions as well as showing his compassionate side and proving what an ultimate showman he is. Did Hunter Hayes Cross The Border Line? He certainly did but in style.
Hunter Hayes will be back in the United Kingdom in May where he will be on his Let’s Be Crazy UK tour. More information can be found here.
