Lady Antebellum are one of the most famous Country groups of all time. Their harmonies, their compassion, and their determination to succeed are something many look up to. They’ve proven themselves to be a dominant force worldwide with such hits as ‘Need You Now‘. The group recently announced a split, which would see Charles Kelly, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood take a short break and a well-earned rest, but what happens when you take two band members out of the equation?
Charles Kelly despite not performing with Hillary and Dave during their break period has pulled out the stocks and come out with a truly wonderful single entitled ‘the Driver’. An additional factor that works well here is the accompanying vocals of Eric Paslay and Dierks Bentley, their individual vocal parts have been well thought out as the production value here is simply brilliant. Each part is well rehearsed, no single vocalist takes away from the overall value of what’s on display.
The harmonies here are special, to put it simply; this is one of the best tracks I’ve heard this year. It’s special, and Charles, Eric, and Dierks have pulled off a masterpiece, that’s encaptivating, performed Incredibly and that tells a wonderful tale that’s all inspiring.
