The Eve of Wednesday the 11th of February was something of a marvel. Little Big Town brought true Pain Killing,
to a whole new level, on their latest album tour. Their compassion & their energy certainly did show. They showcased their latest and their greatest from over the years including Pontoon, Girl Crush & Boondocks.
It’s hard to believe that Little Big Town have been around for 16 years rocking the country scene all over the globe. Talent alone isn’t enough for a group or an individual artist to go far as the music industry is as competitive as ever. Each member Kimberly, Jimi, Karen, & Phillip bring together one harmonious masterpiece. They put their heart and soul into each and every note they sing which certainly does show when they come out onto the stage and give it their all.
With the success of Tornado, their latest album “Pain Killer” was sure to be a landslide. One of their most recent hits “Day Drinking” saw an unforgettable 2014 CMA performance with none other than pop sensation Ariana Grande. The band then went on to win the 2014 CMA Award for Vocal Group Of The Year. At this years, 2015 ACM Awards Little Big Town have been nominated for Album of the year with Pain Killer, as well as Vocal Group of the year, which they won the CMA award for in November.
The experienced and ever evolving Little Big Town continue to wow crowds all over the length and breadth of the United States, and most recently at home right here in the UK. The Ritz crowd enjoyed the night, & the atmospheric temperatures were through the roof leading to many a happy face. I was one of them.
Expectations were higher; expectations were surpassed. Did Little Big Town Rock The Ritz? Well, they certainly aren’t Little anymore.
